 CASTING/ROLES

“Soloist” and “Featured Skaters”: These roles will be determined by a judging panel. Auditions will be held on September 24th and the resulting role assignments will be posted at Sertich, on the CSC Board, and online at www.CentennialSkatingClub.org by Tuesday, September 25th, at 5:00pm.  These roles will only be given to skaters that have Passed OR Competed at Free Skate 4 Level and Above or Passed AND Competed Preliminary Dances.

Auditions:  Skaters may use their competition program for the audition OR they can create a 1-1 ½ minute audition piece in “Nutcracker” style (music, costume, etc.).  Judges will be looking at overall performance abilities in addition to skating skills (audience connection, emotion, enthusiasm, and character).

“Groups”:  Basic Skills and Free Skate level skaters will be given roles in the “Group Numbers”, assigned as follows on a “first come, first served” basis:

Snowplow 1-3 – The Gingerbread (with Mother Ginger) (max. 16 skaters)

Basic 1-4 – Mice Army (Rat King/Queen) (max. 16 skaters)
